These two half-day Learning Labs for licensed therapists will provide a limited number of participants with a review of the literature on Narrative approaches to group, and four experiential (non-therapeutic) groups. There will be two groups on Day 1 and two groups on Day 2. There will be time for discussion and review of new learning at the end of Day 2. Participants will learn theoretical differences between Narrative and psychodynamic approaches to group, identify Narrative Group therapeutic interventions, learn methods of encouraging storytelling, and methods for managing strong feelings, and conflict.
